Jean-Robert NUMBI is a human rights activist and a digital security expert. He is a computer engineer graduate from Bundelkhand University and works in close collaboration with human rights NGOs on issues related to the new information technology and digitization. He focuses his time developing strategies for the protection of human rights defenders as well as pro-democracy activists in the equipping of software based on the security of digital data. He is also actively involved in the peaceful management and mediation of conflicts, advocacy and social mobilization. He advocates for the rights of the oppressed and the fight against inequality and discrimination. He is a member of the NGO Friends of Nelson Mandela for the Defense of Human Rights (ANMDH) and serves as the coordinator of public relations, communication and media.
