Suivi de l'état de la démocratie en Afrique

Le Forum sur la démocratie africaine (ADF) s'engage à réaliser sa mission de renforcement de la démocratie et des mouvements de droits de l'homme en Afrique grâce à l'analyse et à l'évaluation des développements qui se déroulent dans le contenu en collaboration avec nos membres et d'autres parties prenantes.

L'analyse se concentre principalement sur:
• élections et démocratie du parti;
• participation citoyenne à la gouvernance;
• présence d'une société civile dynamique et active;
• la séparation des pouvoirs dans tous les groupes de gouvernement;
• l'indépendance des institutions qui soutiennent la démocratie, comme les organes de gestion des élections et les commissions des droits de l'homme;

Ces analyses visent à informer le FAD dans ses programmes et ses interventions afin de s'assurer qu'elles proviennent d'un point de vue éclairé. Ceci est également important pour la diffusion rapide et précise de l'information à nos membres et d'autres parties prenantes et en sensibilisant aux problèmes de développement sur le continent.
